popping in to say high, and ask you all a question.

I just decided to play rome again, so i go install it, go to multiplayer and it says invalid cd key, i lost the original cd key, but i bought another copy awhile back and used that one, put it in, and it still says that.

so the question is, do i need the original cd key for these cds, or is the cd key just bad?

I have this problem with Rome : Alexander, I'm not sure why it does that seeing I have the original CD key, try looking up some RTW forums and see if anyone else has this problem. Come back and let me know if you get it fixed.

well, i checked, unfortunatly it isn't good news. nothing was there. The only one that had something like this at TWC was a download.

which means that most likely this specific cd key is bugged or something.

Hello Eve be sure you are not mixeing 0 for O and that you have it exactly the way it shows, if all that is as it should be try calling tec rome support and have youre game box near, reciept and place of purchase ready and Im sure they will give you a new cd key.

ya, ive had this game for over 2 years now so ditto on the reciept which kind've sucks, and their are no caps on them right?

If it shows caps or has a - mark be sure to match it exactly as you see it.

ya, tried it with a 0 and a O, both failed. kindv'e sucks there, just extra incentive i guess to find the original cd key. or buy another copy.

For the game to work you have to install the new game and use the CD key the game came with. After that you can continue to switch CD keys as often as you like. (I personally use new CD keys a lot just to give some other clans a thrashing when they talk shit since they wont play me when im in my HoS tags )
