Online connection speed test

I was looking around(as I so often do) and saw this site on Icemans sig. http://www.speedtest.net/ It does a quick test of your online speed and gives you URL stuff for easy posting. You guys should try it and see how your connection speed is. Maybe we could get everyone to do it. Wink

This might help us find out who is best suited for hosting the bigger games. Heres mine.

I'd be interested in see what you guys have. If you take the test please post the results. Thanks

Romulus and I both use High Speed cable and look at the speed difference compared to the rest....uploads are insanely fast.

yah but then it comes down to ur comp. if i wanted to play bigger unit sizes i would need a better graphics card.

if everyone had a top of the range pc, a sweet interent connection AND gamespy didnt suck, then we cud play 4vs4 on huge, ie will nvr happen

Cool, thanks for the quick posts. Just out of curiosity I tried the test connecting to England then went to Australia.

Look at the ping differances over just 50 miles away. Wierd.

man ram helps? Time to get me 4 GB more of ram Wink
