Did you guys see this in todays Xfire update page?
Added the *beta* ability to capture video using Xfire. You can enable this for testing by going to Tools | Options | Video. Please read the FAQ
Hmm...Interesting.
They also added support for Shogun: Total War. Better late then never I guess.

The video feature in the new beta update for XFire seems to work great for the time being, and definitely produces a better overall media file compared to one created from "FRAPS" as every frame created by FRAPS is permanently stamped with "www.fraps.com".
Better late then never I guess.
