He put on his helmet and rode out into the abyss.

a land of abysmil smack talkers and polite players, all mixed together by one game. his house was in disrepair, the result of 6 months of neglect. But still he donned his helmet, he lost his moves, but wanted to come back and make a name for himself. Once he got there though, he saw tactics had changed, people no longer spammed rome and greece anymore, and he needed a change of tactics. His previous use of one shot chariots and selucid had to change. 2 days into his foray of this game, he found a group of clannies who had beaten him soundly. One, who he would find out was named alexander, saw promise in him. He offered to this man to join the Imperator clan as a recruit. Doubtful after his uncessful attempts at clans before, he decided to at least check this one out. He found that they were based on attitude, not ability. This appealed to him, as he left for just that reason in the first place. Joining the Imps, he got 20 kills in just 2 days, however their leader, a charismatic man named Boru, hadn't made him an official member till much later.

As he played, he befreinded all imps that he played with, and began to learn how to play his chariots again, only with Egypt as they are safer. Soon he remastered them and became very good and 1v1 and team games with Egypt. However this was just redoing what he had already done, not something special, he had to come up with something that noone else liked to use and master it. He found his answer in Artillery, looked down apon as inaccurate and a waste of money by most clannies, he knew that there was a fear of them though, and began to see how he could play off of this inner fear. He found the answer while he was trying to obtain the ultimate general title, with Thrace. while playing with Celtic, a good friend, he found that most people will charge their cav at the art as soon as possible, for fear of its fireball. Hiding 3 of his cav in the woods nearby, and 3 out in the open away from it, he let his opponet charge the art. The result was spectacular, he lost few cav and a couple art guys, and the opponet lost all cav he threw his way. Knowing this, he began to work on his skill with ambushes, and how to sucseffuly bait his enemies into turning his back to his cav. His new tactic was what he called the one unit ambush. Working at this, he became extremely good at routing armies with one chariot unit hiding in woods killing all his cav. After this, he decided it was time for a change, he renamed himself and moved to Medieval 2 Total War. He had been playing on it, but retained his Rome as his major. Finding the new game fun, he worked on how to use his knowledge from rome to win in Med. He learned that he is better for him in Med to wait for the engagements to happen, with him at center, and then he unleashed his unchecked cav on both flanks, causing a rout, and then his allies fold on center. With this, he has a bushel of contracts, the unit for measuring how many wins you have, and dumped them on Borus desk.

Then he put his helmet on.

I quite literally didn't do anything that game, HRE rush one side, Byz sat on the other, many crushed the HRE and then got the Byz with the remains

Really fun game, baron did a great job with his cav, and 2 heavy lancers held off the chivalric knights with barons help, and let me charge spains rear with my cavalry

this was an insane game, shadow fell apart right from the get go and me and rom fought off 3 armies for this astonishing win.

real tense game

as an added bonus, 5 minutes in the game one of my cannons killed spains gen, then spain and one venice charged me, i moved my gen to support my men at arms and he walked into a cannon shot lol!
