This is how the story begins....There was a Rome Total War Clan called KoTW Knights of Total War, a very good and active clan.Draconis and I were members.There were many great players in the clan.Every 2 weeks if you felt ready you could challenge King Koss "The fearless leader" in a series of fights
the best of 3, if you won you would go to the next rank.Many tried and many failed for he was a great fighter and tactician.I was one of the only guys that beat him every time for the next rank.Draconis lost 1st time but after that started winning his ranks as well.No one else in the clan could beat him, so they were stuck @ the lowest rank.We did not like how it was and the clan asked us higher rank memebers "Drac and I" to talk to koss and consider a different strategy for promotions.He said "I am the King and this is the way/will of the clan" this upset many of the members and mutiny was thick in the air.1 by 1 they wanted to quit.So Draconis and I said lets make a clan with out a king, a clan of brothers that chose there own destiny and vote when there is an issue that will affect so many.So we formed the DRAGONS democrocy.Many KoTW are part of great clans now like Destroyers and BRO and NO.Draconis,Cormac,Lord Matt, and I are all ex KoTW members.I never made forums before so I sat down and started doing research on how to go about makeing one.I went to many clan forums to see what they did and what boards they used.There was many things I didnt like about the other forums, such as crappy images,little avatars, little font size, too dark of colors etc.I wanted a board that was very clean and user friendly such as modifying there profiles without useing url etc.So I considered all of this and editboards seemed the best of the best in my opinion.So I went to the faq and it helped me figure it all out.So 1st I made the dragons.editboard.com site "my 1st forums ever" it was fun, but when mtw2 came out thought it was time to make something a little cleaner so I made the dragonsmtw2.editboard site.We had a vote and decided the samuri was the most related to the way of the dragon and the dragon was very much a part of there culture, so we decided to be the westerners who adopt the way of the samuri "Western Samuri"
We had many friends in rtw and our 1st allies were the barbarian horde back when Goalie was the highest rank member.
Then in mtw2 we fought many battles with and against the grailknights, all friendly fights with great sportsmanship.When I say many i mean about 100 fights, so we really wanted to be allies with the Grails, I shared every little tip and trick I knew with several of the members.Then there are the Horsemen another great clan of good sports we fought against and with them several times, always tough.After War and I defeated the -SA-
Silent Assassins probably the best tournement clan in TW history
I offered War an alliance.He went back to his clan and had them vote, it was unnanimous, they chose yes, we were very pleased
with this choice.So that kinda sums it up the basic back bone of the clan.Now we have many great players with awesome attitudes.Soon there will be many Dragon Highlords |DH all equal brothers @ arms.I am the ambassador highlord, I carry the words and thoughts of the dragons to the other embassys, as you know you see me in youre embassy
